A dozen or so kilometres from Gdańsk opens the country of lakes, woods, and rolling moraine hills - the Kashubia. The land stretches from the Baltic Sea down to the Tuchola Forest. Kashubia is rich not only in nature, but also the local culture and tradition. The long list of its tourist attractions certainly includes e.g. the ethnological open air museum in Wdzydze Kiszewskie, the Kashubian Pottery Museum in Chmielno, or the highest Kashubian hill of Wieżyca.

The local fishing traditions are very much alive in the Hel Peninsula. Jastarnia, Chałupy, and Hel are also popular among summer holiday-makers.

Obviously, we must not fail to mention our nearest neighbours: the cities of Sopot and Gdynia. No soul in Poland is unaware of such Sopot sites as the pier, the Forest Opera with its annual song festival, the "Monciak" pedestrian area, or the beach. While in Gdynia, one cannot miss at least the "Pomerania Bounty" museum tall ship and the marine life Oceanarium.

Masz opis Kaszub. Wystarczy do wyszukiwarki np. google wrzucic angielskie haslo "travel in poland" i dostaniesz pelno stron, na niektorych mozna znalesc opisy, jak np. ten powyzej.

O mazurach tez znalazlem, wystarczy chwilke poszukac:

Mazury

This area is located in the north-eastern part of Poland, east of Olsztyn. It is a typical post-glacial region. Lakes, which occupy 1/5 of t he area, is the greatest tourist attraction in the region. Sniardwy Lake is the largest, however, Mamry Lake and Niegocin Lake are only slightly smaller. Apart from these enormous lakes, you can find thousands of smaller lakes that are nearby. They are joined by well maintained canals, rivers and brooks, which enable canoe rallies. Along Krutynia (in the neighborhood of Ruciane-Nida), the route (100km) runs through the following lakes: Mokre, Beldany, Nidzickie) and Czarna Hancza (in the neighborhood of Augustow).

You may rent canoes and yachts in Gizycko, Mikolajki, Elk, Wegorzewo and Ruciane-Nida. These towns are good starting points when traveling to The Great Mazury Lakes. In the summertime, ships of the white fleet cruise on the Mazury Lakes.
